Colony Single-Family Residential, Inc. ("CSFR") was established in early 2012 by Colony Capital, LLC ("Colony") to acquire, renovate and
lease out single-family homes across the U.S. Since early 2012, CSFR has built a portfolio of over 3,900 homes owned or under contract
with capacity for growth.
Colony believes that current trends in the U.S. housing market present an attractive investment opportunity. Colony recognizes historic
levels of distressed inventory where housing, the largest asset class in the U.S. representing a $20 trillion market, is undergoing
significant change as the supply of homes has ballooned in the wake of the 2007-2008 subprime crisis. Additionally, Colony anticipates
a shift towards a rentership society as structural impediments to home ownership have driven consumer demand for single-family
rentals, while rental supply has remained tight. These favorable conditions provide the opportunity for Colony to acquire homes at
seemingly attractive price levels, while substantial rental demand potentially generates strong current yield from rental income.
