The Stamford School of Regional Anesthesia will be unique because we will fill the gaps in existing programs that have led to a lack of growth of continuous peripheral nerve block programs. >> SSRA will have the following aspects which will make us unique and thus have a more competitive edge: >> 1.0ur Saturday seminars will include two critical components that are missing in every other course currently available. A. we will have a surgeon speak about, "the surgeon's perspective on starting a regional nerve block program". >> B. We will have an administrator discuss, "How to get your administration on board and what do HCAHPS mean for pain >> management in the future". >> » I have verbal committments from both my surgeon and my administrator who are enthusiastic about being a part of this exciting course. >> » 2. We will offer multiple avenues for followup support once the weekend seminar is complete-- vital components to ensuring that skills and concepts learned at the seminar are put into action. » Free followup included in the cost of the seminar will include: A. Access to a free webinar held bi-weekly during which questions that arise after our course is completed can be >> addressed. >> B. We will send participants home with educational materials "The Bowling Binder" describing the "10 nerve blocks every anesthesiologist needs to know", billing information, internet resources, and articles supporting the use of CPNBs. >> EFTA_R1_00851812 EFTA02170365 » C. Access to a prior participant's section of our website, where videos with audio commentary showing proper technique for » nerve blocks and catheter placement will be viewable. » » Optional fee for service followup options include: >> » A. An in house educational program at Stamford Hospital. Our program will be for 2 days and partipants will have intensive ultrasound training, didactics, and peripheral nerve block/catheter placement observation. Since we are only one of a handful of organizations performing TAP/PVB catheters routinely our hospital will be a desirable destination. Our guests will have an opportunity to interact with our business manager who can answer questions about the economics of a continuous peripheral nerve block program. Particpants will also be given copies of all of our policies and procedures needed to launch their program once they get home. >> B. We will offer a service where one of our faculty will come to a participant's hospital and "hand hold" the anesthesia group » as they introduce new blocks into their practice. » >> We were hoping that you, or one of your colleagues, would deliver our first lecture at our Saturday courses which is appropriately titled, "The Stamford Advantage". You could describe the tremendous success and growth our program has had in the last 4 years and include the other services we offer (2-6) that make our program the best one on the market. >> >> I think SSRA is going to be a huge success and we look forward to partnering with I-Flow in this endeavor. >> » Best regards, » >> Theresa and Steven >> » >> >> >> >> » » >> EFTA_R1_00851813 EFTA02170366
