At this point I assume the architectural contract and work should be on hold pending your meeting with Gensler determining the new scope of work. Gary From: Warwick Wicksman Sent: Fri 2/19/2010 3:38 PM To: Doug Schoettle; Gary Kerney Subject: RE: LSJ screening room and pool Doug and Gary, Thanks for your notes. Brian is updating the plan based on your comments, and we hope to send it out later today or early Monday. On a related note, we are mailing out the current invoices based on the drawings we just EFTA_R1_00541445 EFTA02031349 issued. Attached are the pdf's of the invoices. I would really like to get them taken care of before we launch into the redesign. Can you process these? You will see that we are about 60% complete with CD's, and the consultants vary between 50% & 100% DD, depending on the discipline. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments! Thanks, Warwick Warwick Wicksman, AIA Princi al Santa Monica, California 90404 USA From: Doug Schoettie Sent: Friday, Februaryliiilial To: Warwick Wicksman Cc: Bob Anderson; Bryan Oakes Subject: IS) screening room and pool Dear Warwick, The swimming pool building should be positioned north so that the south facade aligns with the south facade of the adjacent library pavilion. The screening room should be studied in two orientations. The stair can be located in a pavilion that is the same size as the small bedroom pavilions and align with the two existing pavilions and be spaced apart the same distance as the two existing so that there would be three pavilions all in a row spaced equally apart. The screening room would be placed directly south of the new pavilion and align with the west wall of the new stair pavilion. The orientation could be north/south or east/west, we will stake out both options. The screening room rectangular box should include the projection booth and the toilet, pantry and storage. If the screen is now 25 feet then the box will be smaller than the 75 x 45 feet that I scale off the drawings. It would be helpful] to indicate the existing pool and enclosing walls for reference and also the existing driveway which is indicated on the survey to see the clearance with the drive. The open view to Dog Island is more southerly than you indicate. Regards. Doug EFTA_R1_00541446 EFTA02031350
