From: To: jeevacation@gmail.com Subject: updates Date: Sat, 02 Feb 2013 19:24:12 +0000 B did 4 hours of work with Bill yesterday morning. He rested the afternoon but then insisted on going out for dinner (!!) and then got a migraine and left within a few minutes. I just don't think it is wise for him to be up and pushing it so hard. It makes no sense to me why he goes full court press on diagnosis and treatment but will have suboptimal results due to compliance. It's not like this is just a finger. It's his vision. Geez. Anyway, Sam continues to be whiny and emotional and I think driving Boris to get up and out more. Does have told him to not look up or put his head in certain positions but when you are out about you can't control these things because of the reflexes connected to your nexk muscles. Your eyes move reflexively, like when you look down to walk down stairs your eyes are actually looking up. You get it....voluntary control of eye movements is "easier" when you aren't moving around so much. He thinks I am nagging at him. He showed me the retinal and vascular imaging which I only have a rudimentary understanding - just the vascular side. I don't look at a lot of retinal images. Anyway, his macula is pretty much gone on the R. Maybe that is why he's kind of given up (or feels that way to me) since peripheral vision returning is just so so, and also not even guaranteed. Contribution to binocular vision with just periphery is pretty minimal. And virtually no contribution to depth since it screws with accomodation reflex to not see centrally. Sam will be going to NYC next weekend. Mette is coming in about 2.5 weeks. That's the report for the past 24 hours from the Land of Boris. EFTA00953146
