Welcome back!
Hope you had a fun trip.
I figured I would do my part first so I found photographers and got some new pictures (attached).
Some of them still need to be fixed or cropped but its a start; I am expecting more next week..
Regarding the lawyer„ I must say the office is not very well run and it makes me a bit nervous. The attorney I initially met with
never answered any of my calls, messages or emails after our meeting. I then contacted the owner - your guy - to find out
what was going on. He apologized profusely but gave no explanation for the first lawyer's disappearance. Then he just
assigned this indian guy to my case whose english is not great.. I want to make sure you know enough about this firm to want
to use them..do you
This is an email from the new lawyer with a list of documents to begin the process:
"Hello Nadja:
My name is Arun Nanda. Michael Braycich is a dear friend and an old associate. He has handed me your case with
instructions that special attention be accorded to your file. I am currently working on your Green Card petition under EB1
category - "Professional of Extra Ordinary Ability".
I will like to have some preliminary information from you in order to make a worthy petition. Please provide the
following documents/evidence to help me begin the ground work for your Green Card petition:
1) Copy of your initial O-1 Petition - please provide a complete copy of petition, entire set of supporting documents, USCIS
Forms (I-129 and "O" supplement) which were submitted at the time of your initial O1 petition;
2) Former and Current worldwide contract offers with major modelling agencies;
3) Former and Current employment evidence;
4) Photographs/video segments from the modelling shows;
5) Pictures from magazines and newspapers/websites;
6) Proof of a salary commensurate with outstanding abilities;
7) Evidence that you will be employed by major modelling agencies in future;
8) All awards/rewards/honors;
9) Evidence of your participation in any voluntary/community affairs;
10) Endorsement letters by prominent people (from the industry)
11) Photographs with celebreties / famous people;
12) Recommendation letters from previous employers and co-workers;
13) Your background in haute couture and commercial modeling; (In short - please furnish a detailed resume/essay on your
back-ground; career, milestones, achievements, model ranking (if available); covers of magazines; advertisement/ modelling
deals etc).
14) Income Tax returns filed in the U.S for the last three years (or for the time you have spent here on O1 visa). Copies of any
form of receipts like pay-checks, W2 etc are acceptable.
Sounds too much!! I will begin putting the pieces together once received. We may have to sit together for about 30 minutes to
go over every thing once.
Mike asked me to politely ask you for remittance of the fee ($6500) to him or to me.
Please feel free to contact me any time with questions or suggestions.
Regards
Arun "

I now need the agency in order to move forward with the application. They need to provide: copies of all previous visa
applications & documents, modeling contract ( both old and new) , some industry recommendation letters and eventually help
with I-485 form.
Do you think I can get that or will I need to switch?
