Jean luc, I write this to let you know I have made a decision re your legal action filed against me in the State of Florida To say that I was amazed to read it in the newspaper would be a huge understatement You and I have been friends , very good friends best friends for almost twenty years. You were always there for me , and I was there for you. We have always been correct with one another. At least until you filed the lawsuit. I have stood by you, when no one else would. And you have stood by me. When you had your tax issue with the IRS . I immediately jumped into help. Marissa stealing preceded any trouble I had. You have repeatedly thanked me for my help. Reciting numerous times how without my help you do not know how you would have survived. I will not list for you , all the things that you have done for me, and certainly would find it vulgar to have to list for you , things I did out of true friendship .for year after year When you asked me what I thought could be done re the bad google articles. I told you that I did not have an answer, I had tried to use reputation mgmt , and they had failed. I told you I did not have any solution separate from letting time pass. I understand that these articles , none in my control , has had a negative impact on us both, but I certainly could do nothing to stop them. I have yet to say one bad thing about you, even after you have broken our friendship and trust. I am shocked and dismayed, both by the stress that I realize you have been under, but frankly by your behavior that is unexplainable to me.. I m not sure why you did not come to me , sat down , and discussed with me ways that would have avoided this highly unpleasant circumstance in which we find ourselves. That being said, I would be willing to sit with a third party arbitrator who could hear your side of the story, to give you a chanve to air your grievance. I have sent you an offer of settlement for 10k, an amount that to be clear if you reject . might make you liable for all the legal fees I pay to defend your lawsuit . I will proceed to defend myself , using any and all of my resources. I believe you have affirmatively with forethought violated my trust. The consequences of that can unfortuantley be very harsh .
