Present for the interview were attorneys, Also present was AUSA AUSA Detective and Special Agent After being advised of the identities of the above listed individuals and the nature of the interview, provided the following information: In New York, massages for JEFFREY EPSTEIN were scheduled around the same times, usually around 11:00 AM and 4:00/5:00 PM. LESLEY GROFF would be the one who would communicate with those individuals giving the massage. would stay at her apartment during the day and sleep at EPSTEIN's house at night. When would leave in the morning, she would see people waiting; they were younger women. did not know if they were underage but thought they were around her age. They came in normal street clothes. saw JOJO escorting them upstairs in the elevator. may have overheard that they were there to massage EPSTEIN. did not know how she knew but it seemed they were there to massage. They were similar looking women to those saw in Palm Beach. JOJO and LYNN FONTANILA, who were married to each other, were at this residence. thought this was around 2004. In the later years, GROFF worked at the house. LYNN LNU would keep a piece of paper with the first name of the women with appointments coming in. thought LYNN had since passed away. After EPSTEIN was in jail in the mid-2000's and was on house arrest, EPSTEIN and spent time in New York when he was allowed to travel. EPSTEIN told that he was not going to "do that" which meant no massages. EPSTEIN felt that he would be a target. EPSTEIN traveled with women to New Mexico. There was a massage room in this residence. In the Virgin Islands, one or two women would give EPSTEIN a massage. thought they were licensed masseuses. EPSTEIN would go into the massage room with a woman. As far as knew, the people that worked for EPSTEIN in his homes did not massage him. EPSTEIN's assistants did give him massages. did not know if his assistants only gave massages or were also involved with him. believed that was sexually involved with him at some point. was also involved with EPSTEIN. thought that most of the women that traveled with EPSTEIN were involved sexually with him. believed that was sexually involved with EPSTEIN but thought that stopped at some point. EPSTEIN told that it stopped with , saying that he was "no longer playing with her". started dating someone from London; thought this was before EPSTEIN went to jail. EPSTEIN used the word "family" when referring to them. thought the only person EPSTEIN saw as an equal was GHISLAINE MAXWELL. EPSTEIN and MAXWELL had real conversations. EPSTEIN respected MAXWELL. , and were all dependent on EPSTEIN. felt "the longer you were around, it was harder to give up or get out". did not know how was able to get out. After left in 2010, she could see a difference; it felt like she had a new life. shared that with and other women that it felt different. met her current husband (known to law enforcement as and felt this helped get out. left around 2012/2013. There was a woman named who was around for longer trips with EPSTEIN then left. , known to law enforcement as and her sister, known to law enforcement as , traveled with EPSTEIN for a while. thought they stayed after she had left. III was around when first met EPSTEIN. III left and went back to -. came back and worked for EPSTEIN after his house arrest. told that EPSTEIN was hard on III and quite abusive. EPSTEIN had some of the women involved with other women. Many of the women has talked about were involved with other women. thought that was involved with other women. photo was in EPSTEIN's massage room in New York. was wearing a wedding band and EPSTEIN seemed to like that. EPSTEIN told that was with other women. did not think was with other women when she was around. EPSTEIN described a sexual experience he had with that happened before met him. and III were not close. did not know if III was involved with other women. had vented frustrations to that EPSTEIN was unreasonable and tough. did share with any instances of physical abuse by EPSTEIN. When was at a casting in , either JEAN LUC BRUNEL or someone else came to this casting. was around 16 years old. was asked to apply for a tourist visa but it was denied. then applied for a work visa and it was approved. met BRUNEL at a dinner party in September. BRUNEL traveled regularly with EPSTEIN. did not know how close EPSTEIN and BRUNEL were. BRUNEL encouraged to do things to EPSTEIN including massaging EPSTEIN's feet and being good to EPSTEIN; it was clear BRUNEL approved. BRUNEL and EPSTEIN had a close relationship in that they talked very sexual about women. In early 2004, BRUNEL brought a really young girl to the island. thought this girl was around 15 years old. EPSTEIN commented about this girl and being 10 years apart in age. BRUNEL and EPSTEIN would share stories about women they had sexual experiences with. thought EPSTEIN repaid her debt because she was no longer asked about it. work visa was through the agency. had the sense that EPSTEIN could have deported her with one phone call to BRUNEL. EPSTEIN told that he gave BRUNEL one million dollars to keep in the country. EPSTEIN had an immigration lawyer, PARDA BESKARDES, who he referred people to help with their visas. EPSTEIN used this to his advantage. BRUNEL sued EPSTEIN. recalled thinking this was a publicity stunt. EPSTEIN expressed disappointment about this. BRUNEL visited EPSTEIN often while he was in jail. renewed her visa In 2011, started her own company and worked on her own. EPSTEIN was not involved in her company. EPSTEIN did help financially and put the money she received toward her company. There were stories of MAXWELL being sexually involved with women. did not have first hand knowledge of this. There were conversations that EPSTEIN and MAXWELL had in group settings. saw photographs of MAXWELL throughout EPSTEIN's house. remembered girls coming to EPSTEIN's home for massages. It was reasonable to to think that these girls were paid. did not remember if she ever saw money on the table. While was in the room, she did not remember seeing an exchange of money. When EPSTEIN would step out of the room with a girl, thought he was just talking or connecting with her. Looking back on it now, thought it was to pay them. There were women in Florida like that remembered seeing. interacted with knew was there to massage EPSTEIN. felt embarrassed and naive because EPSTEIN made her believe that wanted to be there for also recalled feeling the same about and recalled a time that there was a vibrator that she and EPSTEIN used. EPSTEIN did not want to have the vibrator at the house anymore. It was the vibrator that EPSTEIN had and EPSTEIN told to get rid of it and not to ask why. did not remember conversations about pictures being removed. recalled EPSTEIN had a probation officer that he did not like transferred. EPSTEIN shared this with and seemed proud of himself. There was a woman, , whom EPSTEIN hired to work in the office in Florida while he was on work release. EPSTEIN told that tried to blackmail him and he gave her $50,000. was told by a friend that contacted EPSTEIN a couple months before the current investigation into EPSTEIN and tipped him off. was told that had the information and warned him. recalled walking into the New York office and saw people shredding papers. did not remember when this occurred. EPSTEIN shared with that he felt as though he was being watched. told EPSTEIN that she wanted to do something about the press. had an idea but EPSTEIN told her to hold off because there may be something more substantial. EPSTEIN and MAXWELL talked about sex. In a group setting with other girls, MAXWELL talked about oral sex. This was at the island table. MAXWELL had a specific move she liked to talk about. MAXWELL recommended books to read, including books like "Story of O", and something like "Lessons or Advice of a Wife to a Mistress". MAXWELL was reading this book and told and other girls to read. did not recall who all was there for this conversation. did not recall if the conversation about sex and the books was on the same day. and vented a lot to each other about EPSTEIN. felt that both she and were blinded and did not think there was some massive sex trafficking ring going on. and thought for years that it was a witch hunt for a wealthy man.
