i spoke with Roy Pemberton, Jr., director of the division of fish and wildlife, to see if he could
get staff to survey the area of the grounding. Roy indicated that his vessel went in for service
this morning, but he would see if it is now available to put it back into the water. if not,
would LSJ be able to provide transportation to the island to survey the area?
also, could you let us know where the vessel is actually grounded (north or south side of the
island)? it will help us determine whether the boat is subject to further impacts from the
waves. I'm hearing that it is extremely choppy on the water today
