Subject: Boyson and the boats - September 3, 2014
Greetings Rebel,
Spoke with Mrs. Jackson regarding the possibility of using their vessel to transport the palms from PR to LSJ.
Boyson currently only has "Mister B". She does not think it will be able to land on LSJ with 100 trees on the deck
without being grounded.
The "General II" is no longer owned by Boyson, so that is not a possibility through them.
The "Commander", which was on charter making runs between STT and PR is currently in dry-dock in the DR.
I spoke with Ingrid and Chris this morning. Ingrid now understands that we want 70 trees, not 17.
She will only be able to do this in two deliveries:
40 (4 flatracks) on Friday, September 12
30 (3 flatracks) on Friday, September 19
If JE really want 100 trees total, we could try to push for 50 and 50.
Chris is booked for tomorrow morning, 6:21am on Cape Air, returning Friday afternoon, 5:45 pm on Cape Air.
He is booked for one night at the Ponce Hilton.
Ingrid is in FL, but is arranging for her guys to pick up Chris, take him to the farms, his hotel, and back to the
airport on Friday.
I will give him some petty cash to take care of parking, meals, the hotel balance ($23.23), etc.
