Con Edison is the longest-listed company on the NYSE. In 1824 it was originally listed as the
New York Gas Company.
Where in the world is Tom Stuker? While flying on December 6th between London and Chicago,
Mr. Stuker became the first United frequent flyer to record 1 million miles in a calendar year. In
2011, he became the first person to fly over 10 million miles in a lifetime with United. To equal
the distance that Stuker achieved this year, a traveler would need to trek around the world about
40 times. Cruising at 570 miles per hour, a single nonstop flight of 1 million miles would land 73
days after takeoff. Stukees 11 million miles flown on United would also put him about a third of
the distance from Earth to Mars.
