From: To: Jeffrey Epstein <jeevacation@gmail.com> Subject: Re: Shoes Date: Fri, 31 Aug 2012 02:08:03 +0000 I took checked luggage.. A small black bag with wheels but I checked it as I had too many liquids to carry on. When I called the hotel regarding my makeup bag I knew there was a possibility that it had gone out of my checked luggage as I always do a check of the room, closet and drawers before I leave but I wanted them to check in any case and ask the cleaners. She had given me some cables for her laptop and I think some toiletry items on the way there but nothing on the return as I had already packed when she came up from the beach. If she thought the hotel took them I think she would have only arrived at that conclusion at quite a later stage as she was with me when I spoke to them twice when we got to Palm Beach and did not mention a thing. She also made no attempt to call the hotel when we all back in NY and she was saying they had been taken. The luggage was never out of our sights in the airport. We took turns to go to the restroom or get snacks so that one of us could always be with the luggage. It was out of our sight when the concierge brought it to our room in the bahamas and when we were away from our room. Mother thing I remembered is that when she was on the ranch and I was back in Ny she asked me to call the Ritz in San Fran to ask them if they had found her grey sweater. They had not. But, as I mentioned she is very carefree about her things so there is maybe the chance that as her shoes are in an odd place in the apartment she didnt see them there even if she was looking. she could have looked where her other shoes are and walked right passed them in and out of the kitchen . They are partly exposed and partly covered with a shoe bag On Thu, Aug 30, 2012 at 7:02 PM, Jeffrey Epstein <jeevacation®gmail.com> wrote: lets wait for her side, did you also only take carry on. ? did she think the hotel took it.? was the luggage out of your sights? She only took carry on to the Bahamas therefor she could not have thought they had been taken from any checked luggage. When we got to Palm Beach and my make up bag was missing she helped me look and was with me when I phoned the hotel regarding it. She never mentioned anything about the shoes at this point nor asked me to check with the hotel and she was right next to me while I was speaking to them. When you asked her in the dining room why she did not send her things down with you on the plane to Palm Beach, I can't remember what her response was, but she definitely did send her things for the rest of the trip and San Fran on the plane with you. I labeled it to go and Jen made sure it got to the house in Palm Beach on the other end. On the other hand...there is the chance that she thought she had taken them with her but they had actually been in her apartment all along and she had carelessly not noticed. she does seem fairly blasé and carefree about her things EFTA00712820 Another thing I don't know how to think about. I think it was a couple of days before you left the ranch, she asked me to see if she had left the shoes in the coat closet at 71st ■eee■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■eeeeeeeessssssssssssssssr************** The information contained in this communication is confidential, may be attorney-client privileged, may constitute inside information, and is intended only for the use of the addressee.
