This Release Notes file provides important information about the release of the C•CURE 9000 v2.30
Galaxy Controller Integration on both server and client machines. (In case of discrepancy, the
information in this document supersedes the information in any document referenced herein.)
NOTE: This release supports C•CURE 9000 v2.30

1. Overview
The C•CURE 9000 Galaxy Controller Integration software provides advanced, seamless integration with
the Honeywell Galaxy Controller Security System, allowing customers to monitor their important
intrusion system devices from the C•CURE 9000 Monitoring Station and Administration Station. The
Software also monitors the Controller status, arm/disarm areas, activate/de-activate Output and
Bypass/Reset Inputs.

3. Requirements
The C•CURE 9000 Galaxy Controller Integration requires the following software versions:
• C•CURE 9000 Security and Event Management System v2.30
• C•CURE 9000 Galaxy Controller Integration v2.30.1045.0

4. Limitations
• Main Board is wrongly displayed, along with RIO and RF RIO in the Value drop-down list for the
Device Type field of Query Target type Galaxy Secondary Device.
• There is no update of user information after re-editing the user name to the default name.
• Statuses other than alarms generated in offline mode are not reported when the panel comes
online.
• State Images are displayed on the Monitoring Station according to priority. The display is not
related to the activity performed on any of the Galaxy objects. Refer to the priority list for each
Galaxy object under the respective state images. If Galaxy panels are in engineering mode,
C•CURE 9000 will be able to establish connection with the panel but Alarms and Events will not
be reported to C•CURE 9000.
• Galaxy Controller created in collapsed mode of CompanyName or any other folder created by
you, is not be visible in the Hardware Tree, but it is visible in the Dynamic View. It will be visible
after refresh of Hardware Tree
• When communication is restored between Galaxy Controller and C•CURE 9000, initial status of
inputs are journaled as "Closed".
• Galaxy integration does not support a machine which contains two NIC cards configured on the
same subnet. This is applicable for Standalone and EMC.
5. Known Issues
• Expiry message of Manual Action performed on Group of Galaxy Inputs/ Outputs/ Areas/
Controllers is logged twice in the C•CURE 9000 Monitoring Station.
