Also attached are a few photos of the installation progress. It is noteworthy to mention, as John details in his report, the new pump material is Nickel Aluminum Bronze (NAB) vs the original Duplex Stainless Steel. This may be another reason for the disparity in pump prices, duplex stainless steel pumps are more expensive. In our experience NAB pumps have a lower life cycle than Duplex SS. For this reason we exclusively specify stainless steel pumps in our designs. We stand ready to perform a detailed plant examination/evaluation next week in order to prepare a detailed report and maintenance proposal if you still desire. As discussed you will find a new invoice to flip the crankshaft and install the new pump on the skid. This is the complete project cost. John Leet will be our point person on this and will be completing the install on Wednesday and Thursday of next week. It would be beneficial for him to take a quick look at the pump prior to his arrival on Wednesday. John is in the BVI this week and since Monday is Memorial Day, Tuesday will be the only day he will have. He will need to coordinate with the local staff to make this happen.
