I was proposed to stay on working as normally at bgC3 until December 1 2013. Everything will be as normal with few exception — on all emails that I am sending to Bill I should cc Larry. Also on all meeting that I am scheduled to attend with Bill someone else should be present. If it is 1:1Bill and me, Larry or someone else should attend as well. I should be attending all meetings with only exception of those meetings at Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) that Melinda is attending (I was told it would be only few of these). Bill and Larry will plan some announcement that would go out to everyone in BMGF and BgC3 that would state that I decided to focus on a next chapter in my life and relocate from Seattle — therefore I decided to leave my job. It is not clear when such announcement would go out. 2) New Job — Bill would call/write etc to various people to help me find the other job. 3) Economics — Bill told me that for a such smooth transition they would give me 2-3M severance pay. There is a possibility to convert that into Foundation Medicine stake. Also he proposed that I get a part of an upside of these two investments that are closed — Foundation Medicine and Research Gate. It is not clear how much I would get it as this was a verbal agreement (The minimum they were proposing few months ago was 3O%). He was emphasizing that this is very generous — something that we strongly disagreed.
