This is pertaining to the travel and time commitments I had in place and that you approved just prior to the staffing transitions. The most pressing issue at hand is my mother, possibly accompanied by my future daughter-in-law, is scheduled to arrive this week, Feb. 13 - 19. I purchased her ticket for this time due to the 3-day weekend that would have been afforded to me in my former role and work schedule, in addition to the evenings off. I had alerted Mr. Epstein that my mother would be visiting this month, and asked if she would be permitted to stay on island with me. He said it was too soon though she would be allowed to come for lunch or dinner as long as he was not on island. JE is now scheduled to arrive Feb. 16 - 19. I am in a quandary. Please advise if any of the following remedies would be acceptable: EFTA01029878 I. I will thin my physical presence on island so as to spend time with them prior to his arrival as a compensatory arrangement. This means I will designate other leadership with responsibilities to prepare for his arrival. 2. If she is willing, I will make arrangements with Anna to address his evening meals, as JE and I had already discussed this anyway. I will be off island in the evenings. When Patrick is to be off island with me, we will arrange for a captain and boat to be present in his stead. 3. In the event he would reconsider allowing them to stay with me on island, they would sign confidentiality agreements and liability release forms. They would be off island during crew hours and otherwise confined to the staff cottage with us and completely away from his personal spaces and out of his site. They would sleep in Sam's (the apartment below us in the staff cottage). This would also be a good time to reconfirm my travel dates in April and June for my son and future daughter- in-law's wedding shower and wedding, original request attached. I am happy to make arrangements with Carlos to stay on the island while we are away.
