North Mountain Pastures Going whole hog If you love artisan charcuterie, then North Mountain Pastures just might be your new favorite spot. This family-run farm has been curing meat for years, but is now looking to make its operation fully "pasture to plate" by building an earth-banked aging room. The all natural structure will allow them to make big flavors at a low environmental cost — to which we say: Salute! PA EFTA00672328 ,Machines Full steam ahead Kris Perry transforms post-industrial waste, like old manufacturing equipment and surplus mechanical parts, into kinetic, musical sculptures. He's built everything from massive drumming machines to wind instruments resembling old-fashioned church organs, each as spectacular to behold as they are to hear. The pieces are slated to debut with a performance of original music at the 2012 Machines Hudson Music Festival. by Kris Perry EXPLORE THIS PROJECT P ACategory Performance Art R_ocation Hudson. The coincidence became inspiration for Happy Inside, a series of images reflecting on the commodification of different lifestyles. Now, many trips and countless Swedish meatballs later, she's ready to turn a selection of her arresting portraits into a book.
