Profound; something must be there; love to explore. As you develop project, happy to be a sounding board, help
evaluate experimental design (not obvious - often with new thinking, even if experiments 'work', they dont
achieve objectives).
You in NY in next 2 weeks?

these are all boring. I think music might provide insight into the underlying machine making it. not the
effects of music on brains but can music be a microscope into its software?

Jeffrey: Sounds terrific (pardon pun), potentially important; Closer To Truth would love to support as you
develop (TV and web) - as you know, we have an on-point overview episode planned in "Radical
Breakthrough" series - "Can Music Probe Mentality?"
Mark: It has been —15 years since we did Closer To Truth together (with Bob Freeman and Jeanne
Bamberger) - https://www.closertotruth.com/roundtables/why-music-so-significant. We already have you on
our priority list for the Music/Mentality episode above - a CTT associate producer will contact you during
preproduction. We can plan more, go really in-depth.
Looking forward and best regards,
Robert

Hi Jeffrey -
Syllabus attached here for you - today is Day 1 of the new academic year here at UCLA. Hope you find it
interesting - heartfelt thanks for making all this possible over the years. I hope the back is doing better
and passing far beyond that red line near my old Cornell dorm room - please let me know how you're
doing and if there's anything I can do to help with that.
Yours,
Mark
