The issues on LSJ just has to do with post hurricane surveys, LSJ is in a long list of properties that are having difficulties the ACE flew around looking for impacts by comparing with older aerials...they found a lot of things. And its illegal to replace the wood on the dock and when ACE came and saw people in the process of replacing the wood during a random site inspection after they told us just to let it be until we got the new permit we got in trouble. I managed to talk them out of taking action. The non-compliances we are dealing with now are the two barge ramps which were put in with out permits after the storm and what ever they saw on LSJ that then dredged up the old dock stuff when the did a search. I am in no way responsible for any of the activities that have been done without authorization or permits. I have none nothing but try to minimize the heart burn. My recollection was that it was your insistance on getting a permit to fix the gsj dock which unfortunately was the beginning of all of our troubles. Our goal was to solely replace the worn wood. One year of aggravation would have been avoided if we had just fixed it.... The current wouldn't help him, he already has noted difference on the aerials. He has already suggested that the riprap may have been moved offshore by storm and we could pull it back.... I am afraid he is probably going to ask for the area south of the dock which we did not include because he did look at that on the site visit. Amy Claire Dempsey, M.A. President, Bioimpact, Inc. P.O.
