The caretaker will be required to relieve the Assistant Manager for seven days every 21 days worked by the Assistant Manager. This position would best suit a couple looking to share the role. Relief will generally be booked in advance, however, unforeseen circumstances may not always allow this. The caretaker should be willing to relieve as required/mutually agreed. This is a hands-on position, so the caretaker will be responsible for the daily operations of the business, including but not limited to cleaning of amenities, facilities, rooms each day, general park maintenance/handyman tasks, including gardening and swimming pool, reception duties - must have sound customer service, communication, computer and cash handling skills, must be able to prepare and cook meals in compliance with WHS and South Australian food safety regulations, must be proficient in meal and beverage service in the dining room, must be capable of serving in a timely manner at times of high volume, must be willing to work as part of a team within a family operated business, and the ability to work autonomously and problem solve as required.
