Payment has been so difficult it interferes with my ability to work on the case. I can't have others bill hours which don't get paid. You understand business. Our firm is also a business. We have to pay people. Today is June 30, I have spent almost no time these last few weeks on anything to do with the State court hearing. It is late for me to prepare and I would have to use a lot of my time to do it. And use others as well. Pay what you owe and I will prepare and handle the Federal hearing on 8/12. I'm not dropping what I'm doing to learn the state court stuff now without the prospect of getting paid for it. I have other matters where the clients are paying for me to work on their cases. Better just to part on this then to keep the run around going.
