I agree with what you are saying about the connection over to the library. But I think we have made a lot
of progress on all of the other areas. We have moved a long way from the last time I was at the Island,
and we had the open pool northeast of the main residence, at the low elevation just above the road.
We want to work with you to move this forward, but there are still many moving targets at the main
residence. Is the living room location set? Are the north terraces set?
As soon as we have your comments about the paving images I just sent, we will prepare some detail
paving patterns to review.
Thanks,
Warwick

the living room up and down is not a real variation.. The circulation that i stated was a priority ,
still shows this ridculus dust pan at the end of the road sorry.. its not fair

Jeffrey,
We did agree to provide some reference images for decking. On the recent directive to go with all 16x16
coral stone, I had put that aside. Attached are the reference images we had gathered.
I also attached pattern diagrams based on this week's emails. These do not represent the actual images,
just the areas we would like to delineate. We need your feedback on the images first.
• Option 1: Based on desire for main field to be 16x16 coral stone. Placed at 45 degree
angle. Pool border, area in front of building, and carpet at shade structure would all be larger
pattern.
• Option 2: Our preference for the main field would be larger stone, about 30x30, placed on a 45
degree angle. Pool border and areas by steps and building could be 16x16 accent stone,
orthogonal. Carpet at shade structure would be more intricate pattern.
• Option 3: Similar to Option 2, but omitted path from steps to building. I do not think that area
needs to be defined. More detailed pattern at the shade structure.
• Option 4: Similar to Option 3, but with a more detailed pattern at detailed pattern at the shade
structure and in front of the building.
On our last couple of calls, I mentioned that now that the layout was pretty set, we need to re-engage a
landscape designer to work on Hardscape and Landscape for this area. (That is typically how we
address that scope, as that is not our expertise.) We discussed the difficulty of having someone from
here do that work, as that person needs to be on the island. I thought Gary had someone local lined up
for this, but if not, we can look for the right consultant.
Please remember that while it is true we were released to start in December, our focus has been
shifting back and forth from the flagpole area to the main residence. During this time, we've provided a
design development set of drawings for the flagpole pool area building and shade structures - missing
only paving for the deck and landscape. Also, we have generated almost 40 variations of the main
residence area, including open pools, enclosed pools below living rooms, numerous terrace layouts,
and the current pool location version. Both in hand sketches, cad sketches, and 3d Sketchup models.
It seems to me that now that both areas are getting pretty set (flagpole pool and living room/main pool),
we should be able to finish off the flagpole area, and start to do some detailed design on the main

residence area.

Since december I have asked for a hardscape plan for flagpole pool and circulation from master to
library. The project is extremely delayed . 3 months ago you toldme that you would send images and a
first pass . To date nothing received
