A friend has done several hundred million in EB5 deals in the past year+ and is becoming a significant player in the space. My idea is to combine the EBS funds which are deal flow constrained with the massive development opps in the USVI's especially when done thru an EDC for tax advantaged reasons. The EB5 funds work really well for hotel and real estate developments with scale. EXTELL is on to this and Colony Capital is getting on the train too.
