Jeffrey Epstein, Education Philanthropist, Donates Critical Funds to the Largest Student
Civic Organization in the US
The Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation, which backs cutting edge science research across the
country, has just provided critical funding to the Junior Statesmen Foundation (JSA), the largest
political and civic organization for students in the US. The funding comes at a pivotal time in
JSA's history. Just this month, the prestigious Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation partnered
with JSA to offer a variety of ways to recognize students for leadership, integrity and citizenship
skills. Every school member within the JSA will receive a packet with four Ronald Reagan
Commemorative Coins, to be awarded to outstanding student leaders, four Certificates of
Achievement and opportunities to have student leaders recognized in the Ronald Regan database
of outstanding student leaders from across the country.
The Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation was founded by Jeffrey Epstein in 2000 to support cutting
edge science and has since expanded into supporting science education, early development and
many other areas of learning.
The Junior Statesman Foundation was started in 1934 with the recognition that young people
should have their voice heard in the fields of politics, civil and international policy. The JSA
provides an unprecedented platform for students to exchange ideas through debates, think tanks
and task forces. JSA also offers the chance for students across the country, to meet with one
another, to explore and collaborate on policies they are passionate about and to meet with
political and civic leaders.
The JSA Foundation is organized at the local chapter level and coordinate under the umbrella of
regional chapters. The regions form states, which run three large conventions a year and come
together under a national level of general program operations. The national headquarters are in
Washington DC and in San Mateo, California. Any school can apply to the Foundation to set up
a new chapter or coordinate with one.
"We are very pleased about the Ronald Regan Presidential Foundation's collaboration," Jeffrey
Epstein affirmed. "Leadership should be encouraged and nurtured at an early age." In addition to
founding the Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation, Jeffrey Epstein is a former member of the Trilateral
EFTA00584648
Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations, the New York Academy of Science and a former
Board Member of Rockefeller University. He is also the founder of The Program for
Evolutionary Dynamics at Harvard University.
