The American-Israeli - Jewish
Cooperative Enterprise Virtual
00000 Rosh Hashana 2014
Dear Readers,
We have set an impossible goal for ourselves: to offer visitors to the
Jewish Virtual Library (JVL) the opportunity to learn everything they want
to know relating to the last 5,774 years of Jewish/Israel history, politics and
AICE PROJECTS culture, as well as the information they need about current events. This
has already been a labor of love for 16 years and will be a lifelong project
for me and for AICE.
We see the hunger for this knowledge reflected in the s l,'Jewish Virtual
tremendous growth of our population of visitors, Library
which totaled more than one million in both April
and May. Moreover, the interest in our Library is
universal, as indicated by the global community of
users who come from more than 200 countries and territories.
Our dedicated staff continues to develop and maintain this vast archive of
roughly 30,000 entries and more than 8,000 photos, maps, charts and
other graphics. Thanks to the generosity of people like you; our staff is
focused on strengthening our resources and continuing to reach millions of
people around the globe each year through AICE's projects. Our annual
budget is used to:
• Manage the JVL;
• Produce weekly email reports;
• Edit our free online Israel Studies textbook and produce other
research studies;
• Offer education programs and resources, such as Myths and
Facts and On One Foot, for students, the community, educators
and the media;
• Support graduate students pursuing PhDs in Israel-related
fields;
• Bring Israeli scholars (more than 100 to nearly 70 universities in
the last eight years) to teach and interact with the community

p, and media; and
• Provide resources to address the growing ,Myths &
problem of Israel denial represented by Facts: 2012
supporters of boycotts, divestment and
sanctions (BDS) against Israel.
These are the primary components of AICE's 20-year
mission. To continue
To stay updated to translate your investments

more to educate the world about the Jewish people and Israel.
Donations of any amount can have a large impact; your gift directly
