The bottom line is that your client has been, at best, somewhat disingenuous in her comments, given that she, as I have explained to you, has been more than happy to enjoy our clients hospitality up until very recently. Nonetheless, our client has been most reluctant to cause your client and her former husband unnecessary embarrassment arising from any follow up action he may have to take against the Telegraph, and wanted to afford your client every opportunity to set the record straight ofher own volition at this stage.
