I'm sure he knows a person that charters heavily from London to Middle East every month, that is the reason for a payment plan,. I'm leary of this buyer, since to my knowledge he is not aware of the Two Engines that require Corrosion inspection next year, 2014. plus a minor C check that certainly will unveil more corrosion. if we enter into a Payment plan with this buyer, how will this buyer fund the estimated $750k expense for two engine corrosion inspection and C check due in 2014? #2 Gary's other buyer, Mr Diaz is aware of the corrosion inspections due on two engines, since his broker Elias has requested due list for next year, I think we all can agree we don't trust Gary, if I were to guess, I believe Mr Diaz is a real buyer, but I don't understand why he would take the time to visit the Boeing in Brunswick GA in person?, only a 45min flight from Miami? My gut tells me that Elias the buyers broker and Gary may have come up with this extra $100K brokers fee together, (only a guess),. all that being said, Mr Diaz if he is a real buyer, could be our only real shot to sell at this point,. B727 expense for 2014: as you know, we have #1 and #3 engines due corrosion inspections in 2014, Miami overhaul shop is estimating $225 to $300K per engine -$600K for engines #1 and #3 -$175k for small C check in 2014 2014 Boeing estimate budget $775,000.00 LLP Replacement will be considered Over and Above this pricing as will any other requirements to the engine due to exposure for ASB 6435. With replacement of LLPs and possibly requirements to the N1 Compressor! Fan Section due to condition a good budgetary estimate for Repair of the engines would be in the range of 225K to $300K per engine AGTC can provide a written quotation at your request. In addition, regarding the Aerco deal, I spoke with James Barrett-Jolley, CEO and managing director of Aerco. He was in an airport restaurant in Little Rock, AK and told me that his father, Christopher Barrett-Jolley, is the person who is EFTA00976374 handling this deal. James confirmed substantial interest in buying the 727, stating that there is nothing out there like it for their needs. He said no other aircraft was in as good condition, with engine mods that were approved, so that he would have to pay at least $800,000 and probably substantially more to get any one of these other aircraft going. Which is why they are very interested in our aircraft. He advised that his company, which is an extension of a business operated by his family for many years, is based in Taunton, UK and actually operates a small office out of that address. The first two telephone numbers on his letterhead are his Dad's number, and his telephone number. He asked that I speak to his dad, Christopher, because his dad had more info about the deal and because James did not feel comfortable speaking about the deal in an airport restaurant. So, I called Christopher who also confirmed interest in the aircraft. Christopher said he had signing authority for the Company but that his son was the managing director and CEO. Christopher indicated that he was retired, but was working this transaction because he had a history and experience with operating Boeings. Mostly 707s in an airline cargo business but some 727s in a passenger context. He said ours was "by far and away a better aircraft" than anything they have seen. He said "this is something that they really want to get done? He asked how may days before thanksgiving we closed down, and I told him I would be available to him. He received the "counteroffer from Gary, and although initially his company did not have the time and was not in a position to make the $1.5 MM deposit or have financing or have an LC ready to get the deal done as soon as they needed to, he is now working three separate possibilities for coming up with the $1.5 MM to do the deal. He is supposed to be speaking with someone from Dubai at 11PM UK time who would help provide his company with the money for the downpayment. He said he would call me and Gary and let us know as soon as he has information. Christopher said that he intends to purchase the aircraft in his company's name for the exclusive use of one client with whom he has had a relationship since 1981 "to fly between Europe and the Far East" . He would not identify his client, but said that the client is an extremely private person, an American citizen that trades in precious metals and does a significant amount of traveling between Europe and the Far East. He mentioned forming a US company to buy the Aircraft and have it registered in that company's name. He repeated that they really want to make the deal happen and said he would contact Gary and me with more info as soon as he had it. He sounded sincere, but it seemed pretty obvious that his firm did not have the funds to do the deal. He made it clear that the funds for the aircraft would come from third parties and not from his company. He did seem committed to putting the necessary funds together. I will provide any further info as soon as I receive it. DARREN K. INDYKE DARREN K.
