I spoke to Phil and given t he HT project thought that Steve Cutler may feel differentl y about Epstein, given the exposure the bank has received on t he HT project. I circled back with PB and that was the reason for the RR meeting on Fri day. seems PB was not so t h ri 11 ed with retaining him, it was a 11 due to Jes. He is alleged to be involved i n the human trafficking of young girls and law enforcement is also all egedly investigating his i nvolvement i n this activity. He is also an alleged personal associate of t he CEO of the Investment Bank (Jes Staley) AML Operations went to a PB risk meeting late last week requesting t hat we exit t his relationship. The CEO of PB us (Catherine Keating) and PB General Counsel (Anne Verdon) suggest that William and PB management meet with Jes Staley to review our recent HT i nitiative with him.
