EFTA01051789  Other than the dilemma of which classes to take, I have had a tough fight this year with Crohn's disease, having spent a week hospitalized at NY Presby and endured many many weeks of feeling poorly. I have finally started a new biological medication, and am waiting for it to kick in. I hope to have some improvement over the next couple of weeks, in the meantime have to strictly curtail my diet and activities. As you know, I have always tried to find the positive in this disease by fundraising for a cure. It is deeply moving to me that you have stood with me by contributing generously to my Take Steps Walk Team, "Young NYC." I am walking again this year, and hope that you will stand with me again. It is the 50th anniversary of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, and we are hitting for the fences asking for up to $50K individual gifts. This will help speed us toward solving puzzles such as identifying environmental causes of Crohn's, which will be addressed by a new Environmental Triggers Initiative that I'm very excited about. Please consider standing with us again this year by contributing to the team.
