While we make plans to continue the consistent growth Sealegs =as enjoyed in the last few years, we should always take the chance to =effect on and enjoy what constitutes every day life for the =akers, sellers, advertisers, managers, reviewers, owners and =nthusiasts of amphibious boats. In =hat vein, please enjoy the collection of "2019 so far" Sealegs =ighlights below, and I will be in touch again to share our financial =esult in a few months =ime. <x-msg://137/SOBR> EFTA_R1_01857397 EFTA02633675 Onetangi Beach =aces A beautiful day =n Waiheke combined with a fleet of Sealegs and our always passionate =ealegs Amphibians resulted in a spectacular time had by all. Read =ore Below <x-msg://137MSYS100> System 100 Story Reflecting on the recent release of the =enator SL1170 with Sealegs System 100, I realised the history of our =arge- format amphibious enablement system hasn't been told all =n one place before. With that in mind, I put together the "Sealegs =ystem 100 Story". Read =ore Below <x-msg://137/49R> After the unfortunate =ancellation in 2018, our goal was to make the 2019 Onetangi Beach Races =he most fun-filled & action-packed Sealegs event possible. The races were held on Sunday the 17th of =ebruary and proved to be highly successful, with over 25 Sealegs parked =n the beach and a record number of more than 200 guests in the Sealegs =ent! We once again held the Sealegs Speed =ace - an adrenaline-fueled event filled with unwavering competitors in =pite of unfavourable conditions, and the Sealegs Exhibition Race, =rawing the full attention of the crowd with wild and wacky themed =ostumes. Speed Race Winners 1st: Craig Donaldson & Crew 2nd: Simon =arding & Crew 3rd: Bob Fisher & Crew Exhibition =ace Winners 1st: "King =eptune's Crew" (Capt. Scott Burridge) 2nd: "Mexican =iesta" (Capt. Grant Paterson) 3rd: "Cool Runnings" (Capt. =im Duffet) You can check out =he full photo gallery for the event here. For information on =ur upcoming events (to make sure you don't miss out), follow our =acebook page here Sealegs System 100 was developed several years =go in response to a growing demand for large-scale amphibious =raft. Since then, this Amphibious =nablement System (AES) has been integrated onto several large vessels =or various applications including recreational, military and =ourism. The history of the creation and =evelopment of the System 100 AES has not been told in one place =efore - until now. 3 EFTA_R1_01857399 EFTA02633677 Read the =tory here On the 29th of March, twenty seven Sealegs craft landed =n Langkawi Island, Malaysia, setting two records in the =rocess. The first for being the largest =ssembled fleet of government-owned Sealegs anywhere in the world =y the Malaysian Civil Defense Force (APM), and Fire Department =BOMBA). The second for the longest =rip undertaken by a fleet of amphibious craft, which was registered in =he Malaysian Book of Records. The fleet took off from Melaka State =n the 21st of March, travelling more than 700km =orth along the East coast of Malaysia to Langkawi Island and making =re-planned stops to demonstrate the advantages of Sealegs technology =or emergency response. Read more about the =xpedition here Recently, we completed a video shoot with the 9.0m =ydrasol RIB & 7.7m Sport D-Tube. Our goal was to highlight the key aspects & =enefits of the "ultimate fishing craft" 7.7m Sport D-Tube, and the =family day-tripper" 9.0m Hydrasol RIB in their ideal =nvironments. The =ideos are now available to view on Youtube here: • 9.0m Hydrasol RIB ` 7.7m Sport =-Tube For =ore information on the featured craft, visit our =ebsite. Sealegs is well into the boat show circuit for 2019, with =eattle International Boat Show in the US in the books as well as =arious shows throughout Canada. There are many more shows on the =alendar for Sealegs - a full list of which you can find on our website. If you have a local show that you'd love to =ee Sealegs at, drop us a line at info@sealegs.com and tell us all about =t. BOAT =EVIEWS </=body> In the previous Sealegs =pdate, we introduced the Senator SL1170, the first =ecreational & largest craft to have a Sealegs System 100 Amphibious =nablement System integrated into it. Last =onth, Boating New Zealand reviewed the impressive vessel, giving it an =verall rating of 4/5 stars (based on performance, economy, handling, =alue, build quality, and specification). The=SL1170 clearly made an impact, enough to get it onto the front =over! You can read the full review of the =enator SL1170 here, and learn more about =he Senator SL1170 on our website here. Last year when we released =ealegs Electric E4 it attracted wide attention from several boating =agazines & web publications. One of these was a mainstay of New =ealand boating mags, Pacific Powerboat: 4 EFTA_R1_01857400 EFTA02633678 "With electric being the way of the future in virtually all =ransportation, Sealegs have a winner on their hands, and in time I =ould imagine that most of their boats would be sold with this system. =t is a promising step forward for Sealegs and clearly shows they are =ot afraid of embracing new technology, much like they did 17 years =go." Read the full review here. Motorboat and Yachting, one of the largest European =oating magazines, took the 9.0m Hydrasol RIB out for a boat test and =eview. The reviewer once broke the record =or crossing the English Channel in an amphibious boat (way back in =005) on a 5.6m Sealegs, and was very impressed with how far the =echnology has come since then. MBY did a =ull video shoot of the review, including some fantastic footage of =oole Harbour and surrounding areas, which you can watch here. qtbody> =/tbody> =/tbody> =/tbody> <=tr> unsubscribe from this =ist update subscription =references This email was sent to why did I get =his? unsubscribe from this list update =ubscription preferences Sealegs =nternational • PO Box 303221 • North Harbour • Auckland, =751 • New Zealand EFTA_R1_01857401 EFTA02633679
