Integrator/Hardware Installer Integrators install, program, maintain, and repair security wiring and equipment. Integrators test all security features in order to ensure that everything works as expected. They make service calls to diagnose system malfunctions and may have to demonstrate system functions for customer, contractors, and consultants. With C•CURE Go, the integrator can use the mobile device commands for testing doors by viewing, monitoring events, locking and unlocking. Integrators can also momentarily unlock a door and search audit logs and journal logs. Example: You can test the locking of a newly-installed door without the help of another Operator working with the Monitoring Station since the information is available on your C•CURE Go device. The Operator can acknowledge an Event. Operators can turn Event notification ON or OFF, define priority levels, and configure the system to view only those Events that require notification. To Monitor High Priority Events 1. From Monitoring, tap Monitor Selected Events. 2. When a Search tab appears, populate the Priority field with the value for the desired priority level. (Ensure that the check box is selected.) 3. Tap Q to open the Active Events Monitor. The Active Events Monitor displays a list of all Active Events with the Priority level entered, or higher. Basic Authentication The C•CURE 9000 User Interface lets you edit Operator objects to allow the administrator of the system to create operators with basic authentication. Basic Authentication means that the Operator's account is not linked with a particular Windows domain account but just has a user name and password stored in the C•CURE 9000 database. So if an Operator has basic authentication, the Operator provides a user name and password instead of using the Windows authentication process for the Windows user. The Operator has to enter • his full domain name (in a form of domain\ name) and Windows password if the original Windows authentication is used for his record in C•CURE 9000 • or a usemame without the symbol and a password in case his record has been configured to use basic authentication.
