HRADF Outreach in Europe ahead of the June 17 elections The HRADF has a window of opportunity to engage in Europe to cultivate allies and condition negotiating positions with a new Greek government after June 17. Given the urgency of securing a very high level of political awareness of the fund and its role, and the limited time, we believe the best focus in on key decision makers in Brussels, London, Berlin and Paris who will carry the most weight in negotiations around and after June 17. We also believe that the ECB and the Bundesbank in particular need to be made aware of your work. In most of these cases we have networks that will help us secure meetings with you or for you. We can draw up a parallel list of contacts who we would seek to brief on your behalf, using the European Stakeholders presentation and the Portfolio Overview. We also have contacts at the World Bank and IMF who can be briefed. We would recommend a strategy that seeks to establish links with as many as possible of: Frankfurt The Bundesbank and the ECB. We understand that thereis a question of protocol here, but it may be possible to arrange an invitation for the fund to present to staff.
