They actually gave me two spaces-- a small office my department and a large room where my team can work. The money made clear to FAS that they really wanted to be part of my partnership with GSE. It all played out over a few hours when just where the check would go was hugely exciting a bunch of administrators. . I admit felt like rather a badass negotiator for just a poetry professor. Anyway, I wanted you to know that this gift has made a huge difference, and I haven't even started spending the money. But soon. .
