Good morning JP. I hope this email finds you well. My apologies for the delay in getting the attached information to you.
Attached please find the debris map we discussed as well as the survey of debris to be cleaned up on GSJ. Amy prepared both
the debris map and the survey — so if you have any specific questions about the, kindly direct them to her, with a copy to the
rest of us. I have also included a map with proposed burial locations for brush and vegetation.
The proposed area for landscaping will be approximately 60 X 30 feet.
Please let me know if you need anything else.

good morning Erika,
EFTA01063287
confirming that the information in the email is correct. the only thing I would add is that in no. 3, please
identify any large man-made debris items that will be removed (boat parts such as hulls or trailers, washing
machine, etc.)
if when you submit the hard copy information you can also include an email copy to me, I'd appreciate it.

Subject: Meeting on Friday
Good morning JP & Commissioner Henry.
Thank you for taking the time to meet with me, Cecile and Amy on Friday. I just wanted to provide a brief recap of the
deliverables that came out of the meeting and ask that if I inadvertently left anything out — that you please reply accordingly to
this email. Listed below are the activities for which permission was requested in the initial minor permit application along with
the deliverables, if any:
Approval of the Use of a Water Trailer. No further information requested from DPNR at this time.
Clean up of Debris Alongside Existing Roads. Applicant to provide GPS mapping detailing extent to which clean up of the
roads will extend from the existing road surface. For example, we will provide map with notations of how many feet beyond
the existing road bed the cleanup of brush and debris will be completed. We will also include notations as to trees which may be
removed as part of the cleanup and which trees will remain, with descriptions of said trees.
Clean up of Christmas Cove and Shallow Bav Beaches. We are also requesting permission to remove man-made debris and
dead flora and fauna from Christmas Cove and Shallow Bay. We anticipate that the debris removal from the beaches will take
approximately eight (8) people a total of twelve (12) weeks. It may require the use of a small track hoe and/or excavator, or
small truck to load and clear debris from the beaches. As discussed during the meeting, debris on this site includes human waste
which cannot be removed by hand.
Landscaping of East Side of GSJ. We will provide the dimensions of the land area to be planted.
Erection of a Flagpole. No further information requested from DPNR at this time, however we are aware that DPNR may
grant permission for a flagpole not to exceed 45 feet. Mr. Epstein may apply to the Board of Land Use Appeals for a variance
allowing the installation of a flagpole in excess of that height.
In addition to the information noted above, we will provide GPS mapping of potential locations where brush can be
composted and/or buried. In addition, should Mr. Epstein determine that some of the matter will be mulched, we will provide
EFTA01063288
specs on any mulching equipment to be utilized on the island. We will also provide GPS mapping of the locations where the
removal of large debris (boat parts, appliances, etc.. will require the use of machinery).
I will deliver the requested information to JP and to Commissioner Henry Please advise if anyone else should receive copies in
JP's absence. Commissioner Henry, my understanding is that you will work to expedite the permit application once you have
received the above requested information.
Thank you again for your assistance. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything else.
